Celebrating community through music.

Klamath musicians gathered together at the Mazama High School band room in early 2015 in order to fill a gap in the local musical community: a place for talented local wind and percussion musicians to learn, play, and share traditional and contemporary band music.

Our Mission

The mission of the Klamath Falls Community Band is to promote band music in the Klamath Basin as a traditional community art form through performances, music education programs, and community partnerships.

Today

Today the Klamath Falls Community Band consists of over 40 musicians and performs an average of three concerts per year in the spring, summer, and winter. As of February 2017 we have successfully obtained our 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status and are now listed as a public charity. Donations to the Klamath Falls Community Band are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

www.heraldandnews.com The Klamath Falls Community Band formed two years ago, pairing students alongside resident musicians. The group performs three times a year. The band is directed by Rob Izzett. Izzett is joined by Vice-Chair Niles Reynolds to discuss how the group formed, became a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and its future.
