Join the Klamath Falls Community band for a concert of exciting Americana music at the Ross Ragland Theater on October 20 at 2:00pm. The performance will explore pieces celebrating the rich and varied traditions of the United States, ranging from a medley of earlier American folk songs to more recent Hollywood masterpieces and other concert band repertoire. The concert will also feature a special saxophone guest soloist: Randy Kem. Randy is the co-owner of the Willamette Valley Music Company in Salem, OR and has been an integral part of the local school music programs for a number of years as an instrument repairman. He is also a talented musician who has performed with many local and national ensembles.

The Klamath Falls Community Band will return for a Fourth of July Concert in 2022! The performance will be held right in front of the train at Veteran’s Memorial Park in downtown Klamath Falls immediately following the Fourth of July Parade (at approx. 11:00am). The band will continue the day’s celebrations by performing quintessential American tunes, including the Stars and Stripes Forever!

The Klamath Falls Community Band's annual "Sounds of Christmas" Concert will return this year on Sunday, November 28 at 2:00pm at the Ross Ragland Theater. Start the holiday season off right by joining the community band for an afternoon of holiday music. The concert will feature some Christmas classics like Alfred Reed's "Greensleeves" and Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride." Other pieces will feature unique arrangements of familiar holiday tunes, including a fun, Western-inspired approach to some Christmas carols called "Cowboy Christmas."
This concert will also feature the world premiere of a brand new piece titled "From Glen to Glen," written by renowned composer Robert Sheldon. This piece was written in memory of Ian Izzett, the late son of community band director Rob Izzett. The piece was commissioned by the community band and a group of Oregon band directors. This concert will mark the first public performance of this new piece.
